Note Boat crashes

Postby John S » Fri Oct 23, 2009 9:08 pm

Hi

When I use Note Boat I get the following message when I click on the diamond:

“An exception of class OutOfBoundsException was not handled. The application must shut down.”

Does anybody else have this problem?

Many thanks

I believe this often happens when using the mouse instead of the keyboard.. try using the keyboard shortcuts instead and see if you still get the problem.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it only happens when I use the mouse.

I have the same problem, but it occurs whenever I try to use NoteBoat...before I even click on anything. Just opening the program is enough to cause the problem.

I only have the demo version of the software. I'd like to upgrade (because I'm starting to hit the limits of what the demo version will do), but I'm hesitant to pay for it if parts of the program won't work.

Will this problem go away with the full version?

(Ah, the rewards of releasing beta software...)

The problem should go away. And if it doesn't go away, deleting the prefs file should make it go away. And if that STILL doesn't work, then.. I imagine that's the sort of thing for which money-back guarantees are born!
