APA files

Postby gavriel » Mon Sep 01, 2008 4:13 am

One technical question,

When I want to move my scores and records in an APA game to another computer, hoe do I do this?
I am using a MAC and the only file I can see is the actually file (icon) of ETC6 itself.

Thanx

In your "Preferences" folder you will see a handful of files named ETC*. Move (copy) these to the other computer's preferences folder.

thanks. Got it!

May I ask out of pure curiosity...
How many Aves are in the game before it ends?

I am by the way, on ave 130 and am amazed how flowing the game is and how easy it feels while still being very challenging.
it is a very different type of play than the APB was.
I am really enjoying it.

My mode of playing is very fast - as fast as the game controls themselves allow...

I disables animation and play in fast mode, trying to colour the eggs as soon as I here a C. It is wonderful. Just what I needed.

Regarding the discussion we had in a different thread about more-than-one pitch. I have another idea.
What if we had a bonus quizzz (say every 50 Aves) where one hears a sound and has to answer a question. For example recognise all the notes - like a one sound dictation. or answer a question about serial music like: "What pitch is NOT is the following sequence", or answer a more context-sensitive question like "which pitch is played by the piano?" or "how many "C"-s can you hear in the following recording?"

Just for fun, just to make the game a more real game.
Something to break through the routine.

Why not?

/User/AppData/Roaming

This will probably be a hidden folder.
